Elegant wedding at Palais Coburg in Vienna
It felt like for an hour Vienna was back in time. Not long, like one hundred years or so. In front of Stephansdom, everybody stopped to see our lovely couple, Zara and Hakob. Her beautiful dress and intricate tiara made Zara look like a contemporary Sisi, the beloved Austrian princess. They both got in a traditional Austrian carriage and we've made a tour of the historical center of Vienna, on the way to Palais Coburg. On every corner, someone will wave to our bridal couple, applaud or take snapshots that they will show to their relatives, at home. Because Zara and Hakob looked amazing. They looked royal!
Their love story started somewhere else. Originally from beautiful Armenia, living in USA, they chose to tie their destinies in Vienna. And we were so lucky to be there for them and capture all the magical moments. It was a small wedding, with only few members of the family being present. And it was so intimate and cozy, we felt like part of their amazing family! After the morning preparation at the hotel, everybody headed to an Armenian church for a small and traditional ceremony.
While every moment of this wedding felt like a fairy-tale, our favorite moment was the first look. In the small courtyard of the church, the time stopped for a few moments… It was all about them. The love in Zara's eyes and the sincere happiness that she surprised her future husband with her amazing look. The admiration and joy on Hakob's face and a feeling of pride for having such a beautiful wife. The truth moment of love. And then they said "yes" to each other, in front of God and in front of their families and friends.
There was no better way to finish this beautiful wedding than a dinner in a palace. On board of two historical carriages, the guests were on the way to the reception location. And for us, it was a race against the time, since we wanted to catch the golden hour, for our couple shooting. Especially that we were shooting in one of our favorite locations in Vienna: the gardens of the Palais Coburg, with the beautiful iconic marble stairs. With such a beautiful couple and the amazing surroundings, the shooting was a pure pleasure. And after another short family photo session and a small reception, we left the happy couple and their guests to enjoy the dinner in one of the historic palace rooms.
