Travel all the way from Australia to get married in the snowy Alps! Sounds like a dream, right? For Sam and Rory, this is a story of their destination elopement! 


When we first had a call with the guys, and they mentioned that they wanted to get married in the snowy Alps, I knew exactly the place! And, oh boy, I was right about this wonderful location! 


When Rory & Sam decided to get married, they knew they wanted to do something that was important to them. Instead of a big wedding, they used the money to travel through Europe together for five weeks and ended up in the Austrian Alps for their destination, elopement.
They spent five wonderful days in the Jufenalm resort. That is where I met them the day before, and over talking through lunch it felt like we knew each other for ages!
On the morning of January 11th, they had a relaxed breakfast and got ready together. With the weather perfect and the sun shining, they exchanged our vows and made a special commitment to each other. In the evening, they ended the day with a private dinner to celebrate being newlyweds.
Sam & Rory, you stole my heart! I hope we will see each other again!

We traveled from Australia to meet with Lily and have her photograph our dream elopement in the Austrian Alps. From the moment we met her online, Lily was so kind, caring, and excited to be our photographer. She provided ideas of many options where we could have the ceremony, and we ended up choosing an amazing location based on her recommendations. Lily was great and timely with all communication and planning.
On the day, Lily was so kind, caring and professional. She made us feel at ease in front of the camera and was so excited to be there. She had great ideas to take photos and the day was just easy and fun.
From the time we spent with Lily, she felt more like family than a photographer. We now have so many beautiful photos that we can’t choose which we want to frame!
